FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE VFW!!!! You just can't beat it! Live music, great food, cold beer, and folks who will dance with you even if you can't get out of your
wheelchair! THANKS VFW for hosting our disabled Veterans from the State Nursing Home! You all are the BEST!!!!
Also, a very SPECIAL THANKS to Charlie Goodreau, owner of Charlie's Quality Home Improvement, a Combat Veteran
and regular at the VFW in smyrna, TN.
When Charlie found out that the VFW has to charge our Veterans for the beer (State Law - no way around it) Charlie stepped up to the plate and said he'd take care of the tab ... that they shouldn't have to pay for any beer (and he's right)!! What a guy!

A EULOGY
in Rememberance of
Don Hall
one of VetsNiteOut's very first participants!
Mr. Donald Hall died in bed of an apparent heart attack Saturday night, September 18, 2010, just two months short of his 82nd birthday.
Always a great and fun-loving guy, Mr. Hall enjoyed many a trip with VetsNiteOut!
He and his best friend, Frank, were actually the initial "poster boys" for
VetsNiteOut back in Sept 2008.
He will be sorely missed by friends, Staff and Residents alike of the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, TN, where he lived for the past 10 years.
Farewell and God-Speed to a great USAF Veteran and human being.

THE PIT STOP!
The Pit Stop had a kitchen fire this month so we'll be unable to go back on the 29th!
We're sure sorry to hear about that and wish Dale and the gang a speedy and hassle-free remodel...if there is such a thing!
Hopefully we'll get to go back soon because our Vets sure love it!
