Note: While the economy has affected many establishments, and some have understandably had to hold off having our Veterans over, BUSTERS, DUGGERS and the VFW Post 8422 NEVER say NO...

not once this whole year did they even hesitate when we called!

They always welcome the Vets with open arms, treat them like kings and to whatever they'd like to eat and drink!

Our great big heart-felt THANKS to Busters, Duggers and the VFW!!

You all are the BEST of the BEST!!!

1st Anniversary PIZZA

PARTY A HUGE SUCCESS!

Pat and Connie McMillan of Little Caesars Pizza in Murfreesboro, TN arrived at 2 o'clock on the dot on September 28th with stacks of large Pizzas and Crazy Bread with sauce for the Veterans at Tennessee State Veterans Home!

If it wasn't enough that the McMillans donated all the food for the Pizza Party,

they stayed and helped serve it to the Veterans as well! What a great couple!

COMING UP NEXT...

And we rounded out our Anniversary month of September with a trip to DUGGERS FOOD AND FUN in Murfreesboro, TN ... always a favorite especially with the Veterans of Tennessee State Veterans Home!

Back to BUSTERS

on Sept. 8th! The Vets ALWAYS have a great time at BUSTERS! They are always pacing back and forth a good hour before time to get on the bus to go!

And what makes it really nice, too, is that "Buster" (Steve Crockerell) is always so glad to accommodate them! AIN'T LIFE GRAND?

And, we even had some new faces this time... GREAT!

Some of the Veterans were already waiting in anticipation, with others following the fantastic aroma of fresh,

hot pizza filtering through the air!

What a generous spirit you two have to want to honor our Veterans again!
