One of the members of the Activity Staff  and Driver at Tennessee State Veterans Home, who transports the Veterans to and from VetsNiteOut events, Teresa Shell-Hunt, is celebrating her Birthday on Tuesday, Oct.  6th!

Teresa!
Teresa is a real favorite with the Veterans at Tennesee State Veterans Home as she always has their interests at heart, and "spoils them" as much as she possibly can! You can see Teresa in many of the VetsNiteOut pictures on this website and at VetsNiteOut on Facebook, as well! Great folks like Teresa help to make VetsNiteOut as much fun as it is for the Veterans!  Thanks Teresa!

MAX'S MIRACLE ANNUAL RIDE FOR CMV RESEARCH IS SATURDAY,
OCTOBER 10, 2009, ON THE SQUARE IN DOWNTOWN MURFREESBORO, TN
THIS YEAR!

There will be a Motorcycle Ride and Show, a Car Show, Live Entertainment, all kinds of good things to eat...and who knows what else!  This is an ALL-DAY EVENT, starting with a BISCUITS & GRAVY  BREAKFAST, so come on out and plan to spend the day!

Bring the kids to meet Little MAX, who makes the cutest little "spokesman" for such a devastating and debilitating disease of infants: CMV. (In case you can't read his shirt, it says CMVAWARE.COM ;
check it out on the web if you'd like more information.)

Rich Peoples, Founder of VetsNiteOut, will be there on Saturday helping with this Fundraiser, so please come out and show your support for little Max! Thanks!

KARIN'S KUSTARD in Smyrna, TN a BIG HIT with the LADIES at TSVH!

Even though several of our VetsNiteOut trips ended up being cancelled, due to transportation problems at the Veterans Home, five of the Ladies residing at the Tennessee State Veterans Home were fortunate enough to get out in between problems and go to KARIN'S KUSTARD in Smyrna!

It was a gorgeous fall day and wonderful for an open-air picnic!

Karin served them anything they wanted, and everyone had an absolute ball!

Thank you Karin, for your generosity, and for a great time!
