* BUSTER'S TRIP     RESCHEDULED!

WHAT A GREAT REASON TO RESCHEDULE A TRIP!

Well, come to find out, after we made the VetsNiteOut schedule for November, Lifeguard Ambulance
is hosting a big barbecue for the Veterans at Tennessee State Veterans Home on the 10th!

How great is that????

So, we will just move our BUSTER'S TRIP over from Tuesday the 10th
to Thursday the 12th!

(Rich Peoples, VetsNiteOut Founder,
said he just might show up at the Vets Home for the BBQ! )

BBQ and BUSTERS both a great success!

Lifeguard Ambulance Service treated the Veterans at TSVH to a great BBQ on the 10th ... hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, potato salad, coleslaw ... you name it ... and it was TERRIFIC, too!
Those boys over at Lifeguard are pretty good cooks!  Thanks Lifeguard!

TWO TRIPS IN ONE DAY!    WOOHOO!!

Well this certainly marks a first!

On November 20th, Ladies at the Tennessee State Veterans Home enjoyed a "Ladies Luncheon" at the CITY CAFE on the square in downtown Murfreesboro, TN!

And they had an absolute ball!
Every one of them was grinning from ear to ear when they got back to the Home!

Then, later on, several guys at the Vets Home headed for the VFW in Smyrna, TN!

Two VetsNiteOut trips in one day ...
that was really something!

A big THANK YOU to City Cafe and the VFW for treating our Veterans to a wonderful time!  Sometimes all it takes is just being able to get out and go somewhere that makes all the difference in the world to our Veterans ... and we sure couldn't do it
without such great Hosts as the City Cafe and the VFW!

Sorry, but we didn't get any pictures of the Ladies Luncheon (in his excitement to get to the City Cafe to have lunch with all the beautiful Lady Vets, Rich Peoples, Founder and Hosts&Sponsors Coordinator of VetsNiteOut, forgot the camera!)

But that's ok ... we plan to make the Ladies Luncheon a monthly event, so we'll get some next time!

Another Heartfelt
Thank You!

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Our good friend Mike Wetherington of ADC Chemical in  Fayetteville, TN., made another sizeable donation to VetsNiteOut for the second year in a row ... so that we can continue everything we do to make the lives of our Veterans residing in Nursing Homes just a little better!

THANK YOU MIKE AND ADC CHEMICAL!

We couldn't do it without YOU, or any of our Volunteers, Hosts or Sponsors!

VetsNiteOut is truly Blessed!

VETERANS DAY
is
November 11th

"Generations of Valor"

The above picture pretty much describes what Veterans Day is all about.

On this Veterans Day, let's be especially grateful for the brave men and women who lived and died to protect our freedom.

Each and every one made a check
payable to the United States ... for "up to and including my life ..."

Rich Peoples' Father and Grandfather both proudly served their Country.

This Veterans Day we would like to pay tribute to Linda Martin-Peoples' Dad(Rich's father-in-law).

This poster of Lt. Col. Fruit was posted among many honors and memories of the Veterans at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, TN. on Veterans Day.  He was a great man, and will be truly missed.

Busters Rocks!

The Vets has a great time at Busters on the 12th ... as per usual!  We had a few different faces this trip!  Good deal!  Needless to say, EVERYONE loves Busters!  It has got to be one of the coolest places in Murfreesboro, TN!

And, last but never least...
We had the privilege again this year of celebrating Don Hall's birthday ... he is now 81 years young!

Rich Peoples brought over Don's Birthday Lunch of choice: Rib Eye steak, rare ...
Baked Potato, loaded ... and Salad with Bleu Cheese dressing!  Logans Steakhouse also slipped a few extra things into Don's Birthday Lunch: 2 bags of peanuts, 6 yummy yeast rolls and 3 different desserts!  Whew!  Needless to say he had to save some for later!

Happy 81st  Birthday Col. Don Hall, USAF, Retired!
