Even though many of the Veterans at the Veterans Home are not able to go out with us, they sure enjoy "hearing all about it" when the guys get back! Every trip creates quite a buzz!  It's like the ones who can go out go back and share their experiences with the ones who can't. That's a pretty cool thing ...

Our Veterans had another great time atDUGGERS!
But that's not too surprising, seeing as they always do! Great food...cold beer...good company...and always a warm welcome...what more could anyone ask for?
And, the Veterans who smoke also appreciate being able to do that at Duggers, as well! No wonder it's one of their favorite places to go! Just about all the comforts of home!

VetsNiteOut is so thankful to have
DUGGERS as a Host!

THANKS DUGGERS!  For your kindness and generosity in having our guys over again in this New Year!

YAY!  Our Vets finally made it out...

After a couple of missed trips this month, for various reasons, the Vets finally made it out to the Handlebar on Wednesday, Jan. 26th!

Rich Peoples, VetsNiteOut Founder, was not able to accompany them this trip as he was at the hospital with his Mother.  He said, "As much as I hate to miss going with the Guys, I need to be at the hospital with Mama when she comes out of surgery."
So he was.

No pictures this time, but Rich will surely be there next time to get some!

VetsNiteOut has 5 trips scheduled for next month, so hopefully, weather and health permitting, we'll see you there!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!We have a whole lot planned for
our Veterans this year, so "stay tuned", and come join us when
you can!

Starting the New Year off at
BUSTERS PLACE!!!

And why not? Busters Place was the very first establishment that not only agreed, but was PROUD to
Host our disabled Veterans  ... and Steve Crockerell, owner, has been inviting them back every month ...  since Sept. 2008!

The Veterans look so forward to going to Busters for that famous Buster Burger and a couple of beers every month, so starting the New Year off at Busters is probably like having Black-Eyed peas for New Years ... we're bound to have a
great 2011!!! Thanks Steve!  You and your staff are the absolute BEST!

VFW Trip CANCELLED

Regrettably, our monthly VFW trip
had to be cancelled due to the
weather, but the SNOW was so incredible it was 'almost' worth it!
(Note we said 'almost'... the
Veterans would most certainly rather go to the VFW on Friday
night than watch it snow... but at
least it was awesome!)

We're going to see if it can be re-scheduled for this month, but if
not...
we should be there next month for sure!

Another "Don't-Miss" Video:

Watch what happened recently when his school told a young boy he couldn't wave
the US Flag on his bicycle anymore... woohoo! Look-out!

M-o-r-e  S-N-O-W!!

THIS HAS GOT TO BE SOME KIND OF RECORD!

This is how many snows now for the Nashville-Murfreesboro area?  Amazing!  Some years we don't get
any at all!  Sure has been beautiful!
