VetsNiteOut officially became a non-profit 501 (c) (3) Corporation on May 14, 2010.
(Important Note: Cigarettes went up $7.00 per carton in March 2009,
pushing even generic brands upwards of $30 per carton. Veterans on Medicaid
receive only $40 per month* for spending money. If you are able and so inclined,
please drop off a carton of cigarettes for our Veterans at your local Veterans Home
or Nursing Home.)

*UPDATE: Beginning in January 2010, the $40 per month increases to $50,
which is great, but still not enough to cover 2 cartons of cigarettes per month.
